De Oranje Daad Charity

De Oranje Daad (The Orange Act), the charity committee of the Dutch Expats in Shanghai, is raising money for several charity projects. At this moment we raise money for a very special orphanage: Starfish Foster Home in Xi’an.
This organisation saves children who have special health needs that are the most at-risk in its partner orphanages and pay for the children’s surgeries. After the surgeries, the goal shifts to getting these children in the adoption process so that they can join a stable, loving family in the future. At the moment the kids live in a home, which looks nice but is in very bad condition. Starfish needs to build a new home for the kids. The sooner, the better.
